IceMule Pro - Large (20L) Dimensions & Capacity
- 17" tall, 14" wide, 11" deep (when closed)
- Capacity = 18 cans plus ice
There is no other cooler like an IceMule. We combined the portability of a backpack with the performance of a hard cooler, so you can take your cooler anywhere.
Every IceMule Pro comes equipped with a ventilated & padded backpack strap system, meaning the IceMule is easy to carry. And, with no zippers, the IceMule is easy to get in and out of.
Plus, our welded seams & PolarLayerTM insulation make the IceMule is completely waterproof and keeps contents ice cold for 24 hours+.
MuleSkinETTM & MuleSkinEVTM
MuleSkinETTM, our exceptionally sturdy exterior fabric and MuleSkinEVTM, our tough interior layer, combine to create a rugged shell that protects against the elements and allows for superior ice retention.
Insulating foam keeps contents cold for up to 24 hours. Plus - only the IceMule's IM AirValveTM lets you add air for extra insulation.
This unique feature allows air to be added to the insulation layer (enhancing insulation) and releases air so the cooler can roll up for travel & storage.
We have used the ice mule several times kayaking and what a difference. Previously, we have attempted to keep ice in drybags only to get to our destination and have very warm refreshments. I forgot to empty my icemule after an all day float and came back to it a couple days later and still had ice in it. Hard coolers don't physically work with kayaks. Especially if you turn your kayak over. The ice mule conforms to the kayak and if not secured, will float without letting water in. I even bought another one for a gift. Very good price for the cooler, however I only gave 4 stars because of the shipping costs.
I received this model in time for a four day kayak camping trip on Lake Umbagog in NH and Maine. I filled the icemule on Thursday AM with 12 beers, 8 frozen water bottles, food that needed to be coldish, and a small piece of block ice. Strapped the cooler on the outside of the kayak and headed for our campsite. Once there, it just sat in the shade at our site until Sunday AM where what was left was still cool (the beer Saturday night was still cold!!!). Very impressive performance!!! Nothing spoiled!! Definitely opened some eyes with the folks we went with. The cooler is big and can be heavy, not sure I'd hike too far with it, but a trip to the beach or back in the kayak somewhere, it to do great based on its inaugural outing. Will be fun to keep testing it. Sure beat the hard sided cooler and other soft sides I have tried in the past for a trip like this, by a landslide!
Easily and comfortably carried cold water for 10 people up several mountain hikes at Acadia. This cooler works perfectly and not just for hiking. Best way to bring cold adult beverages to the lakeside for a post hike cool down. Now considered a must have.
We just received our order of 8 large pro series coolers. we are impressed with the quality and construction so far. i immediately filled one with ice and set it on the floor. two days so far and we still have over half the ice! we expect great service out of them in the future.
Good quality construction. Does a good job keeping things cool at the beach in the hot FL sun.
